34-7 at halftime and the defense has been the only decent aspect of the game for KU. Three of KSU's 4 TD's in the first half have come off a pick 6 and two punt returns including one to end the half.

The offense has been dogshit with Jalon Daniels running for his life basically being the offense today.

Holy hell the special teams today. Missed a 40 yard FG, injured punter, and gave up 2 punt returns for TD's.

I'm sorry to anyone that thinks Jalon Daniels is the future at QB, but he is absolute trash at QB. That pick six he threw was just bad. He's made one good throw today. Daniels is better than Kendrick because Daniels can somewhat scramble unlike Kendrick, but there is not a competent QB on the roster. KU's best QB is currently playing HS ball in Indiana. There is no reason Ben Easters shouldn't be the starting QB when KU opens the season in 2021.

Agree about Easters - - if we hold on to him - our special teams just fricken killing us - -holy bat shit

Special teams was so bad in the first half that I forgot that KSU's only offensive TD was set up because of a Lassiter muffed punt that gave KSU a short field.

Apparently Jalon Daniels is KU's best punter.

I’m not ready to give up on Daniels yet. Dude can’t even vote yet. Came in with no spring, a short fall camp, and a trash line. Let’s at least wait until he can buy a lottery ticket and has an off-season before throwing him on the trash heap.

@FarmerJayhawk Ben Easters is a better all around QB prospect than Daniels. Jalon Daniels is a good athlete playing QB, but he's not a good QB. I'm assuming he got put a QB in HS or middle school because he was the best athlete. I view Daniels ceiling about where I always viewed Carter Stanley and that's best suited as a back up QB.

@Texas-Hawk-10 Easters may be better, but it’s too soon to say for sure either way. It is worth noting he’s actually a little older than Daniels. I didn’t love him when I’ve watched him but it should be a fun competition this spring.

Oh don't get me wrong buddy , i think just needing that experience give time to make better reads also hell half the time he is running for his life cause the O-line can't substain block - -he is lucky to make ANYTHING out of nothing at times.

I think with him & Easters we will at least be what I think will be much better off then the current situation. I think these two can give us some solid QB in time

@FarmerJayhawk I didn’t either, but I heard he’s improved. Great body. Not being sexist!🥴 tall big strong arm. Speed, ahhh 🥴

Just read an article that was updated like 15 minutes ago. So that would be at like 9:15 p.m. guys. It said Les Miles said after the game today I guess that he fully expects Pooka Williams to be back next year, this is coming form the Topeka Sports and was in the WIBW site. - - Then some about Pooka saying in January he was coming back - -they lost me there , BUT Les is saying Pooka will be back next year

OK everybody raise your hand if they believe that - - NO ? - - umm Ya I think for sure Pooka will NOT be back next year. - -anyone else ?

Just to edit - - read different site - - The Phog and what Les said was That Pooka says he plans on returning to the team In January. - -I still say raise your hand if you believe that. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Maybe we will learn more details. Sounds like pillowtalk to soften the blow or maybe leave options open.

From what Les is saying strictly because of Mothers illness , and wanting to be closer to family. - -leaves a lot of options open. - -Like it was saying he could come back - - - he could transfer to another School - - he could just sit out and prepare fort he draft - -lot of options - -just don't seehim touching the field again in a KU uniform
