Preseason all Big East. I watched a bit of Depaul basketball last year and he didn't look all that different from when he played for us. A lot of wildish shots and generally an accident waiting to happen.

Did he start looking at the hoop before shooting at Depaul yet? Guy used to put up 1-2 shots a game at KU without even seeing a rim
@BeddieKU23 Ha, I never noticed that trend. When I first saw Charlie he was a senior in HS. He was playing in a high level hs tournament in Chicago and he stood out. I had no idea who he was going in there at the time. Never could have dreamed he'd turn into the player we saw at KU. I can't even think of a worse player at KU in my time of watching them which goes back to the 80's.
I saw him play/tv last yr, he was pretty dang good. Totally different than the kid that played here. I'm ashamed that I made fun of him. They were pretty good, think their star had an injury? Not sure.
@Crimsonorblue22 If that game was early in the season Depaul was humming along and Charlie was playing decently. But I watched quite a few games and saw similar adventures.
