TSU tournament trivia tidbit:

If they win today, it'll be the first time that a Division I school plays an NCAA tournament game on the same day that their football team plays a regular-season game. (The SWAC moved their 2020 season to early 2021 due to the virus.) They're scheduled to play Southern U. on Saturday evening.

Texas Southern advances. So Saturday'll be a full day for their fans...vs. Michigan in the tourney, and just as that one ends, the Tigers football team plays Southern U.

But also how is either of these teams beating USC? Don’t think it’s happening

Drake takes down WSU in a damn close one.

Don't know how I feel about this. Would've liked a chance to get back at the Shockers for knocking us out in 2015. Oh well...

(Didn't see anybody who looked like Van Vleet out there anyway.)

WSU had a chance to put Drake away a couple of times and just couldn't do it.

Would be happy to play that Drake team.

like they was talking after the game - - that last shot he had a chance to take another dribble get closer and then pull up. - - Like they said WSU had their chance to put them away

Read an interesting evaluation of USC from some coaches that said they are not a physical team, especially Mobley. If you punch them in the gut early they kind of fold. Mentioned the fact Colorado a physical/scrappy team beat them 3 times playing a certain physical style of basketball. Said they lack a PG. Interesting stuff

Their best player Etienne was a no-show. AAC player of the year. Big reason they let Drake win

All of the games yesterday were entertaining. Good start
