My vacation has started so apologies for the early sentiment. Loving these dog days of summer. Have been watching some CWS, guys and girls (sucks for NC State!) , a bit of NBA playoffs (go Suns!), a little MLB (boo Girardi and harassing Scherzer for foreign substances mid inning!), a healthy dose of UEFA (Austria controlled that Italy game until OT. Damn shame they didnt pull ot out. Go Denmark!), and a sprinkling of Olympic Trials (holy smokes Gabby Thomas looked fast!). Realizing this year how much of an essential part of my meaning of life a rich backdrop of sports is.

And i cant wait to see the Olympics, as a sign that the world is back baby!

This week is like the week from hell for me work wise - but then I get married Saturday. So big week haha.

If you guys are wondering what good soccer looks like and have espn+, check out all of the UEFA round of 16 games, but especially France's and Spain's. Just outstanding sport. All on espn+ On Demand

Italy Austria was outstanding too. All of them though.

Pulisic upset animal rights activists by juggling a soccer ball off the side of a boat over an endangered mammoth grouper his friend had hooked and then falling off the boat on top of it. Not the most thoughtful move from Americas best soccer player.
