Hello ladies & gents,

I had two kids in KU camps last week and decided to stay in Lawrence.
The Oread and Eldridge were booked so I tried the Marriott Riverfront (Springhill Suites)

I give it a big thumbs up at a weekday rate of $109. About 100 yards east of 6th and Mass we walked up and down Mass instead of looking for parking spots every meal.

There is a train whistle across the Kaw River now and then, but it didn't bother me, in fact I enjoyed it.

I used to go in there when it was a retail mall--maybe ten years ago. Great view of the river and eagles sometimes glad you liked it.
