LAWRENCE — Tyshawn Taylor couldn’t help but be a bit distracted.
When asked his first question by a reporter Saturday, the former Kansas guard looked down as his 10-month-old daughter — Isley Rose — tugged softly on his right index finger.
If one needed a reason for Taylor being motivated to make it back to the NBA … well, she was wearing a white bow with baby Nikes on her feet.
“I get to watch her, so it’s fun,” Taylor said with a smile. “Blessings.”
