Something to think about. Teams that are just getting better and better prior to the NCAA tourney are a good bet to get further than you would normally think. This KU team is one of those squads. I'm trying to decide who has improved more and rounded into a game changer between JWill and Dajuan. They are both better and consistently better over the last 10 or so games. It's nice to say we can rely on them now as opposed to earlier when they were much more spotty. Dave and, gasp, Mitch have supplied inside scoring, especially lately, and that is a positive improvement. Och, our FTAA, is on an uptick because of the others becoming a problem for defenses. This leaves us with Remy and Christian. Remy is ready to break out and I'm excited to see and feel that way and he has made us better for sure. Add Christian and we have a roster full of guys who can take over and lead a run at any time. JCL is one pure ass shooter who is another weapon that has shown up more now than before. AND Yesfu, Zach, and KJ are reliable and very improved the last several games. And we have the coach who as Rick Pitino said has zero weakness in his coaching.

One thing I think people should realize is Ku should be really well prepared for very tough defenses. I just don't think we will run across a lot of harder defense's then what we faced in Big 12 play - -Tech , Baylor -T-Een Texas to a degree - should be ready to play against tough denses coming at us in our journey

It was especially physical down the stretch as I can remember. The refs do a good job but I think they were struggling with consistency.

After the 1st round, one of my brackets is in pretty good shape at this point. I did lose a Final Four team in Kentucky, but I still have both title game picks alive, 3/4 Final Four picks, 7/8 Elite picks, and 14/16 Sweet 16 teams still alive. The other Sweet 16 team I lost was Iowa.

My West Region is still perfect, I got 6/8 East Regions games right, 6/8 in the South Region, and only 5/8 in the Midwest Region correct in Round 1.

I know I'm kind of rubbing it in, but it's like I can't help myself:

Look who's leading the ESPN group right now. Still have 14/16 Sweet 16 teams alive because I picked the UNC and Michigan upsets.

Hey, will we put a banner up if we win the next game? KSU would have put it up for getting within 100 of the top...

Apr 03, 2022 01:07 PM #27

I don’t see that a single Bucketeer picked NC as the finals winner. I am taking that as a good sign!
