LAWRENCE — Kansas received a boost to its offense Thursday with the addition of receiver Nigel King.

King, a 6-foot-3-inch, 210-pound wideout, transferred to KU after graduating from Maryland this summer. He caught 33 passes for 450 yards for the Terrapins last season with a team-best four touchdown receptions.
