Several people reported confirmation email issues (thank you guys). I turned the feature off now .I had turned it on to block spammers that were registering on our site (I did a few other things as well that should still help with the problem) but didn't realize that the email was not working correctly. @approxinfinity Question? How do we now edit a profile to include an email? Also I may change the avatar more often now that my little buddy is gone. Thx approx. Sorry to ask dumb questions, but most of us beyond retirement age are NOT tech savvy at all. I barely passed HS typing with a D & that was over 50 years ago. Again thanks for all your effort & expertise, you have everyone's' gratitude for sure.
@globaljaybird Did you get an answer to your question about editing to include an email?
If not, you should be able to by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner of the screen. Then click on your user name. You should see three boxes - 1) Edit 2) Settings 3) Profile . Click on "Edit" and you should be able to put in an email address, then scroll to the bottom and hit " Save Changes "

@approxinfinity Lol - you mean I got it right?? I'm not too techy, but that seemed right to me.
@approxinfinity Clicking on the avatar & username only shows me a larger avatar and number of followers/following, & totals of posts, rep, profile views, & logged in IP addresses. I can find no pull downs to edit profile as did the old buckets board.
@globaljaybird When you see the larger avatar and number of followers/etc... look back up to the top right of the screen. Hopefully you'll see the "Edit, Settings & Profile" boxes that were mentioned above. That's what happens on my screen anyway..... Good Luck. I just got lucky when I found mine, I was about ready to go grab my 12 year old neighbor and have him figure it out for me!
@globaljaybird I see it now! I didn't see the problem earlier (the link was there when I looked) but when I went to the site on my Chromebook, now I see that the link that @nuleafjhawk and I have been talking about is missing. Not sure what is up with that (I'll see if I can find out more) but here's a work around. When you're logged in you can go directly to this link, which is the page the missing link goes to: /user/globaljaybird
@approxinfinity Thx approx., that link went to the sign in page that allowed me to edit, change password, etc. Didn't know if it was a browser issue or what as I am not even a typist let alone tech savvy. A more adequate description would be...maybe...a pecker...LOL
