SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Kansas was convinced the Golden Dome, Touchdown Jesus and Notre Dame’s football tradition were not factors in the Eddie Robinson Classic.

Not just before the game, but afterward.

“We know we can play with Notre Dame,’’ said Termaine Fulton, a wide receiver from Topeka. “We weren’t intimidated by who they were or by their helmets or anything. We just made too many mistakes.’’
