Gotta love Eamonn Brennan of The Athletic. He got sick of trying to put the Big 12 in order when they consistently "beat each other to an unrecognizable pulp" so he just grouped our top 6 into a tie for 7th in his power rankings. He calls it a Big 12 subset.

This is great stuff. We've got the toughest league. Does this league have a team tough enough to win it all? Until Baylor and us won it was kind of the annual embarrassment of being deemed the toughest league and then no one from the league wins it all. The BIG shared this ignominy and still does and I'm hoping that league can win a title one of these years.
