LAWRENCE — The Southeast Missouri State sideline will have plenty of Kansas flavor Saturday.
Silver Lake native Tom Matukewicz will lead his undefeated Redhawks into Memorial Stadium to take on the Jayhawks in KU’s 6 p.m. season opener.
For Matukewicz, who is in his first year as head coach at the school, the opportunity to coach a game so close to home is something he’s been looking forward to.
