LAWRENCE — As far as openers go, this is one Kansas wide receiver Nick Harwell likely will remember for a while.
The senior transfer from Miami (Ohio) made his Jayhawk debut against Southeast Missouri State on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium, and statistically by KU standards didn’t disappoint, catching four passes for 46 yards and two touchdowns in KU’s 34-28 win.
