LAWRENCE — Twice on Monday, Charlie Weis mentioned how he felt good about Kansas’ matchup against Duke, saying his team’s strengths matched up with the Blue Devils’ strengths.
The third-year coach was more specific Tuesday: He believes Duke’s receivers against KU’s secondary will be the battle to watch.
“The people most dynamic on their team are the wide receivers. (Secondary) also happens to be the position that we feel the best about on our defense,” Weis said. “So something is going to have to give here. I'm rooting for the good guys.”
