Jeremy Fears, Jr., of Mich St had surgery today for a gunshot wound to his leg that occurred after 3 a.m. in his hometown of Joliet.
Seems like the "nothing good happens after midnight" lesson hasn't been universally accepted.
Joliet is a tough little town. I was talking to someone who taught there and attended there and he said his little bro is just as good. Of course the greatest Chicago movie started in Joliet, The Blues Brothers. I will be driving to church this morning past the drawbridge, the church where Jake saw the light and the ballroom, now called the Southshore Cultural Center.
