Go, Tar!
He's the real deal, and the rest of the world is about to learn that!
@drgnslayr need to add his pic to the locker room!
I've mentioned this a few times, but damn, wouldn't it have been nice to have Black for four seasons?
Interesting but ESPN refers to Black as the Memphis product...
I'm not sure how these one year transfers should be treated. I'm happy to have had Tarik on the team, and I will always consider him a Jayhawk, but how do you evaluate that.
Now that a guy can graduate and transfer, I don't really know how they should be handled.
Also, Black is originally from Memphis (the city), so that could be another reason that he is referred to as a Memphis product.
Black gets it.
Thank god he did not play football!
I could be wrong but IMHO, his stay at KU and resulting exposure was instrumental to his making it to the NBA. I am not saying that he would not have made it had he attended a different school in his senior year, but there is no doubt that at KU got considerably more attention that he would have otherwise.
@JayHawkFanToo 100% right!!!
@jaybate-1.0 Tarik will be successful at whatever he does! Attitude!!! I'm thrilled for him.
