WS Game 3 -- Royals vs Giants
Oct 24, 2014 10:38 PM #1

Yost changes up the line-up tonight:
SS Escobar
LF Gordon
RF Cain
1B Hosie
3B Moose
2B Infante
C Perez
CF Dyson
P Guthrie (RH)

I like the possibilities especially against Hudson, a ground ball pitcher.

Oct 25, 2014 12:25 AM #2

Cain starting in RF in place of Aoki has already paid off defensively after 1 inning.

Oct 25, 2014 12:55 AM #3

@brooksmd I thought Dyson would play instead of Aoke with Cain going to right. Good move twice already.

Oct 25, 2014 12:57 AM #4

Good hustle by Guthrie to try and beat out that grounder. I

@globaljaybird Yeah I like the lineup tnight.

Oct 25, 2014 12:59 AM #5

Oct 25, 2014 01:38 AM #11

Tony Gywnn was one first class ballplayer and human being.

Oct 25, 2014 01:40 AM #12

@globaljaybird Moose +10 But hurry up before he thinks his name is "hey you."

Oct 25, 2014 01:42 AM #13

@brooksmd
Ditto.
Remember seeing him play in Busch Stadium back in the 80's.
Had a seat real close to him in the outfield. He had a big night with some great catches and an HR. He was gracious. And smiled and waved to us during the game.

Oct 25, 2014 01:46 AM #14

Escobar and Gordon getting the job done. Gordon sitting at second for Cain. 1 out

Oct 25, 2014 01:57 AM #15

Oct 25, 2014 02:32 AM #24

@brooksmd dang! Momentum has switched!!! Hang on!!!!

Oct 25, 2014 02:34 AM #25

@Crimsonorblue22 Need Herrera to "throw like a girl" this inning.

Oct 25, 2014 02:36 AM #26

I don't watch MLB, but I know somewhere along the line pitches below the knees and/or outside low are strikes- I don't know when this changed. Reminds me when you could catch a bBall pass in the air and when you landed had to pivot on one foot. Now you can jump with both feel after the catch or even drive, jump, land and jump- no travel.

Oct 25, 2014 02:38 AM #27

@JayhawkRock78 glad you are in our party!

Oct 25, 2014 02:38 AM #28

He's been calling that a strike all night.

Oct 25, 2014 02:39 AM #29

Oct 25, 2014 02:46 AM #34

@Crimsonorblue22 We tried several but has seemed to respond to Moose so guess he's gonna play 3rd.

Oct 25, 2014 02:46 AM #35

Absolutely go. I almost flew up from Texas to it. Ended up buying two tickets to give to a close friend.

Oct 25, 2014 03:22 AM #52

Why are so many bats breaking???

Was there a significant a out of cheating in the past? Did they start. X-rays of post season bats? I don't watch the MLB but I know they aren't breaking bats right and left like they've been this post season.

Oct 25, 2014 03:24 AM #53

Oct 25, 2014 03:58 AM #58

@JayhawkRock78 Looks like he needs a damn good bath.

Oct 25, 2014 04:00 AM #59

@Crimsonorblue22 Heavens yes-what's the hold up ?!

Oct 25, 2014 04:21 AM #60

@Crimsonorblue22 Mom also likes Rascal too cause he reminds her of Spot from the "Little Rascals". So if she pulls rank on me that's OK. If not for her I may have passed on him completely. Still feel kinda guilty for bringing in another friend to share in our lives, but it will probably help in the long run. Woody had the most unique & diverse personality of any pet we've ever had-and we have had dozens in 4 decades. There have been several occasions after litters were born when we've had a dozen at a time. Only about 2 weeks ago was I finally strong enough to remove the whelping box & freestanding fence/pen panels from the basement that I built for Woodrow's Mother, Roxy & his brothers & sisters.. She was the sweetest & most gentle dog I've ever seen. She was Mom's fav of all time. We lost her Aug 2012. Woodrow was devastated but we still had him. He really changed after that; wouldn't eat, slept in corners & closets, suddenly became frightened of thunder, etc.Being alone alters all souls, its just not easy for any of God's children.

Oct 25, 2014 04:48 AM #61

@globaljaybird boy do I know that!!!

Oct 25, 2014 04:52 AM #62

@brooksmd you will hear from me, won't be a party w/out me! Ha! I don't want to stay to long.
