The day we've all been waiting for is finaly here. It's the first game of the season. A long off season of speculation and a little drama (two transfers) has all culminated into this first of hopefully 40 games.

Get your KU gear on! Go listen to a mildcat fan complain and smile. Let your talking come after the game as praise for a worthy foe defeated. It's time to be a class act and win with expectations to do so, but no ego. It's time to praise the other team in victory or defeat. The refs may help decide the outcome, but no fan here will complain. We are the best fans in the world. We are Jayhawks!

I've got my DVR set (so I can irritate my wife by replaying the game 3 or 4 times).

Luckily, she's a KU alum, too, so she tolerates my obsession!

Unfortunately I don't get the game at home and will be stuck in a council meeting that starts at 7 and usually runs 2- 2 1/2 hours long. :( My plans of going to the bar to watch the game have gone down in flames unless I ditch out on my civic duty...

@dylans Finally something to dissect instead of each other's speculations. We finally get to see if Kelly looks like the alpha dog Wigs wasn't & how fast Cliff can get in foul trouble ! No more wondering if Perry has become the real deal & if the pop & drive are back for Wayne & Frank. Plus how short he leash is for Graham, Greene & Svi. Yeeeeaaaah !! We can do this guys. Rock Chalk !!
