Wonderful read. Every kid playing college ball can take something away from this interview.

@drgnslayr Good copy-thanks for sharing. Tough conf for Danny to get his feet really wet. ACC is ready for new coaching bloodline. Lot of the old geezers are barely hangin around it seems. Konsanants & Roy won't last forever. Hell, Roy may not last the year. After reading I have a decent idea how well he scouted for Bill. Defensive guy first & foremost always looking for the weaknesses in his adversaries. L Almost like a predator for a lack of a better word .Many of us have seen a huge difference in our defensive scouting/strategies since he left for Tulsa. Davis or Gurley said Danny was at the ESU game Tuesday, I can envision him being the one to replace HCBS when that day arrives, and am hoping he lights the ACC on fire while at Wake.

Go Danny-kick Dooks & Heel's rear ends!!

And ROCK CHALK tonight !!

@globaljaybird I think most of us are on board with that decision! Not that I welcome Coach Self leaving but, Danny coaching KU!? awesome

@globaljaybird
NIce that Danny was there to see Evan hit the trey-after the game someone asked Evan what his dad said to him after the game. "Nice shot" was the answer.

And I am right with you about Danny filling HCBS shoes when the day comes. I am not in a hurry for that to happen, because I want Danny to have success in what many consider the best bball conference. A few years of success in the ACC should make Danny the obvious choice for the post Self era at KU.
