What Kansas has to do in Ames:

1. Do NOT have one of those "no show" games like we had with Kentucky and Temple. If we lose by 30, don't come home. File for your transfer from a State far from Kansas.

2. Play tough defense and disciplined offense. Hustle, hustle, hustle.

3. Be close at the end. If we stay close at the end, the Gods will step in and help us out. If you don't believe it, just ask EJ.

4. If we do go to overtime, someone has to step up like EJ did and crush the 'clones.

5. Don't leave Ames until we make the Mayor, his family, fans and the team cry like little babies!

@drgnslayr Do we have a guy that can go off for 30+ this game on this team like EJ or Wigs or Ben?

@drgnslayr They can feel free to NOT be close at the end. If we have a comfortable double-digit lead - that would be fine by me :)

Ha... I hear you. But it feels so good to make the 'clones feel like they could have won the game. They shed more tears when the game is close.

Sure we do. Perry or Wayne (obviously they'll have to show up)... maybe our best bet would be Kelly!

IMHO, KU's defense versus ISU's offense will dictate the tone of the game. Whichever team imposes its will on the other, i,e, KU's defense or ISU's offense, will likely prevail.
