This might add some more fuel to the Petro Shoe Co. conspiracy theory.
Why would Adidas let go of their most lucrative contract? Are they staging a coup in the NCAA?

The truth is that very few people even know that Adidas provides the uniforms for the NBA; I know many if not most did not know this fact when I posted the information a few weeks back. Adidas is paying a lot of money for the privilege and getting little in return; they are probably better off getting more colleges signed where brand names have more appeal.

I am not sure what to make of it.
But conspiracy theories involving illegal activities, especially illegal conspiracies, appear better inquired into by appropriate authorities than we non professionals.
