I'm slightly amused.....

Wish I knew how to "drag & drop" a picture - but I'm too computer illiterate.

BUT - The Kings of Kansas T-shirt literally made me laugh out loud. The one thing I took as a positive out of the WSU debacle is - no matter who we defeat

we will never print a t-shirt about it.

We all knew they'd be printing shirts about ONE game-one team.

At least I've never seen a KU shirt like that. Ours relate to championships or March madness-sweet 16-etc.

I read in the Star that Brownbag did his doctoral work at KU. That could harm KU's reputation!

Mar 25, 2015 05:42 PM #5

@nuleafjhawk yeah right? One freeking game makes WSU kings of Kansas...for a week. No longer. WSU year in year out in the big 12? Theyd be middling at best. At Best!

@Lulufulu I'm reminded of a few years ago when because of weekend results it was a given that Kensucky would finally be ranked #1 come Monday. The fans all wore #1 shirts that Monday nite and they were soundly beaten at home. Often wondered what they did with those shirts. And laughed at their stupidity.

@Crimsonorblue22 Who is he? He's the Gov. What does he know. They booed him at the game in Omaha. The only time KU and WSU fans agreed as one fanbase.

Mar 26, 2015 02:24 AM #8

@truehawk93 I put it on there. Confused. I know who he is, voted against him!

Mar 26, 2015 02:30 AM #9

@Crimsonorblue22 Well, he started out as a great candidate. But he's making some crazy decision that have people scratching their heads.

No, nothing at all aimed at you. I'm from Wichita and have family all over Wichita area. I know exactly who he is too.

WSU is better than KU and you guys just need to get over it. They have better tradition, the better venue, the better coach, more all-time wins, better school colors, a better mascot, better fans, a better education, and all around more class.

And their Head coaching position is a destination job, not a stepping stone.

So just get over yourselves.

ATTENTION ALL POSTERS!

THIS is what the sarcasm font looks like ^^^

@nuleafjhawk It was becoming so cathartic that I almost could not stop :)

Mar 26, 2015 03:16 AM #13

@EdwordL I have a friend who goes to the yearly symphony in the flint hills. Brownback showed up and was booed there. A lil different crowd than bb games. 2 weeks later he cut the arts funding.

Mar 26, 2015 03:55 AM #14

@Crimsonorblue22 Where were all those people booing on election day?? haha. I say Coach Self run our state after he's all finished up with our basketball program.

Mar 26, 2015 03:56 AM #15

That's fantastic :)

Wish they would have shown up to the polls. Would've bet money in the summer that the Governor was toast.. As long as he wins every four years he'll remain deaf to booing. But politics aren't for a board such as this! The Symphony in the Flint Hills is wonderful though!

Mar 26, 2015 04:38 AM #18

@VoyagingJayhawk couldn't pass up the pic of him in the shirt. The news team from kake scolded the boo-ers. Anyway...... I'm done!

Mar 26, 2015 04:40 AM #19

@approxinfinity I thought blown had gone to the other side. I was scared!!

Mar 26, 2015 11:27 AM #20

@VoyagingJayhawk My dad said that Bill Snyder should be President of the United States. Anybody that can turn around a crap program like that and make them relevant - should be running the country.

And my dad's a Longhorn fan.

Mar 26, 2015 02:37 PM #21

@nuleafjhawk people forget just how bad that program was up in Manhattan before Coach Snyder and that's credit to him. Men and women who exhibit such strong leadership, particularly in the coaching field, could probably have succeeded just about anywhere they invested their talents. You'll remember Coach Snyder caused quite a raucous this past election cycle! Haha.

@approxinfinity LMFAO!! For real, better tradition? Since when, yesterday? That is soooo funny!
