Ingram is Duke's top priority and they had home visit yesterday as did UNC and KU. Interesting that the squid is in Toronto watching the Raptors=Wizards game...maybe is is contemplating jumping to the NBA???

As a matter of fiction, I was talking to a UK assistant today on the plane and he says that Kentucky is getting the death penalty tomorrow. Just joking. :-)

I wish that he and Diallo would commit to KU. Some other folks on other sites and probably some on Buckets are debating on missing on Zimm. Ingram and Diallo both have the exact standing reach as Zimm and could both alter and block shots inside. Having 2 guys with a 9'1" standing reach on the floor at the same time would actually cause MAJOR problems for other teams. Ellis isn't much of a shot blocker but between the 3 of them rebounds wouldnt be a problem on either end of the floor.

Oh man... what a similar coincidence I had yesterday. I sat beside Jeff Capel on my flight from NC. He sure was complaining about Duke making him fly coach. I guess that is how commercial airline got that name... from Duke assistant coaches living on cheap seats. Capel really caught me off-guard when he asked me if I knew of any HC opening rumors in the B12. Might he want another beat down?

Senior year hs photos both 6'9" with both played as guards for the majority of their lives and I believe Ingram could be a game changer with some time with Andrea Hudy. After watching Diallo I just think landing these 2 would be so much more than anyone could imagine.

I can't imagine what would happen if Cal created a huge scandal at Kentucky and then tried to run and wash his hands from it. Kentucky isn't UMASS or Memphis. Just like the Jayhawk Nation... the Big Blue Nation is everywhere on the planet and Cal would always have to look over his shoulder. Canada would not be a safe place. Maybe North Korea. He could go over there with Rodman and get an introduction... Sounds like a group of guys on the same page.... living about the same fantasy. Three guys thinking they know what perfection is. Actually, Rodman might be the sanest of the three.

Callipari is in Canada, to talk to Murray trying to inspire him to re-classify from 2016 to 2015 and was also there to talk to Thon Maker and stated as long as they were there wanted to watch playoff NBA, which some of his formers players were playing today

Diallo, Ingram, Brown, and Newman...? Diallo seems to be slipping with each passing day that he doesn't commit. He entertained Chris Mullins, Roherson, Abdelisam or whatever the coach's name is from Iowa St. Mullins is really desperate for Diallo. Calipari made a pitch too. You have all his recruiting minions after Diallo too. Labiserrie (sp) speaking French to Diallo. Good gawd, the lengths teams will go for a player.

Ingram had visits from Self, Payne, and K.

Self makes a last minute visit to Newman. Why?

I haven't heard anything about Brown at all.

What's going on? I hope to be wrong, but if Diallo was going to commit, he would've already. It seems Mullins is making ground and all the analysts have St Johns and UK in a tug of war for Diallo. The media really doesn't seem to want KU getting any recruits. If they had their way, KU wouldn't get a single top recruit.

WTH is going on? What is Self doing or not doing? It's not depressing, it's freakin' irritating. Chris Mullins? Now some analysts actually have Calipari gaining ground with Diallo because of all the vacancies and the current recruits going after Diallo.

These other head coaches have Self by the short hairs some how. They are out recruiting him. How does Chris Mullins come into college coaching and get results.

On a positive note, some don't think it's enough to get Diallo. He's just covering all his recruiting bases so he can make a solid decision. Another positive is that Self may be making some ground with Ingram. I'm hearing more and more how Ingram is coming back to his original friendship with Bragg and that staying close to him is NOT an option for him.

@truehawk93 keep in mind that nobody thought wigs was coming here.

@Crimsonorblue22 Yeah...it's crazy. I would love to recruit. It would be fun to compete and play the game with these kids. Diallo is/was more committed than Wigs at this point. Wigs was a lot like Brown. He was stone cold on his recruiting intentions.

I looked all day long for any reports of the visits.

@Crimsonorblue22 Yeah, it was posted in relation to the visit. There were a few having trouble downloading.

Any other year I think Diallo would be a shoe in for KU, as I think he would've liked to come to KU. Not to mention he was talking to Embiid. However I believe the problem is KU is playing this World University games. I'm not sure Diallo can play in it? Not good for him and not good for KU. After all he's likely a OAD.

It wouldn't surprise me if HCBS is changing his recruiting tactics for this upcoming year with a big emphasis on this World University thingy.

@Crimsonorblue22 I think that was the point. Diallo can't play for us in the WUG's so he might be less likely to sign with KU.
