From another school? University?
The Mizzou transfer is a Forward.
Baker?
Mack is not coming to ku
Or Vick.!image.jpg β
KeVaughn Allen?
He ALSO said if he signs two more players, he likely wonβt need to add anybody.

I don't like the idea of adding another player, but if we do, I would not add a player from any opponent this coming season. I would not want any player to learn our "stuff".
The good news is that Diallo and Svi can practice the entire time.
I had a thought on the guard we might add .. why not get a player from Florida Gulf Coast, where Joe Dooley coaches? I looked and there is kid, Julian DeBose, that might fit the bill. Or how about Brett Comer? He was a guard at FGC, just graduated, and was a pretty darn good player.
@HighEliteMajor They will get accustomed to HCBS's play book 4 months early! That cant hurt anyone but our opponents in October lol.
@Statmachine But you know what will happen -- somehow, someway Bragg or Diallo or another new guy still won't get the system. It's so complicated, ya know.
I think getting UNLIMITED practice this summer in preparation for the WUG is going to be extremely valuable. Its ALMOST like having a RS year?
Does anyone know if Johnathan Williams would be eligible to play in the WUG if he joined KU?
Maybe Danny will loan Codi Miller-McIntyre. Good scorer who's a Senior and good size at 6'3. I'd be very intersted in seeing who he reaches out to if we don't sign at least 1 of these recruits..
@Statmachine Yes, he would .. my only source was the Rustin Dodd article in the KC Star today.
@BeddieKU23 That's a really good idea.
Looks like it would be Big 12 player first, interesting wonder if OU would loan Buddy Hield..
I HAVE A REALLY REALLY GOOD QUESTION? Could we take Josh Jackson he is 18 and still in HS BUT if he were taking College courses this year in HS could we snag a HS OAD for the WUG?
@HighEliteMajor I agree. As much as I want the Jayhawks to represent USA well, the KU season still number 1 priority. So adding a Heild would work against KU in the long run.
But what about Cousins? The graduate from OU? Good jumper and a lock down defender that has experience. Help the younger KU players and jump start his career.
Ron Baker would be an interesting choice. Very capable Kansan player that gets to play for the team he always wanted to play...and he plays the right/needed position and unlikely to ever play against KU again.. It would throw a huge olive branch to the feud but I am not sure how Marshall would react and if he would try to use it against KU or even allow him to play in the WUG team in the first place.
@JayHawkFanToo it was a pretty crazy guess!
Connor Frankamp :)
Oh...you are not very nice... :)
@JayHawkFanToo I couldn't resist! Blown is a politician now!
For some reason the first name that popped in my head when I read the opening post was Ron Baker too. Interested to see who it ends up being. If we sign one of the three guards we've been recruiting i doubt Bill will need to bring someone from another team anymore.
Wouldn't it be nice if Ron Baker suddenly graduates, transfers to KU and is immediately available to play for one year?
@JayHawkFanToo he did graduate.
I forgot he red-shirted his freshman year so he has been at WSU 4 years. I will guess that WSU would not give him a release to play at KU.
@JayHawkFanToo I think if he graduates, he could go wherever he wanted!
That would be amazing. I really like that guy.
@RockkChalkk he checked out the draft and decided to stay. Don't think that will change. Be a shocker! (Puke) darn pukes not working!π«
Haha yeah I know it has virtually a zero chance of happening, was just having fun with my imagination i guess.
@RockkChalkk Marsha would have the big one!
At WSU he is the big fish, at KU he would have much more exposure but not nearly as much playing time. He would be great for the WUG though.
The CF suggestion was tongue in cheek
@HighEliteMajor
I was thinking of Codi Miller-McIntyre.
