Can get into edit mode and make change but it will not recognize and post the edit.
What ??

Sounds like you've got a KSU gremlin virus raising heck with your browser.
Try restarting your computer by putting it in "safe mode".. here is how:

While pushing down your start button flip your middle finger to something purple.

Open flatulence is allowed during this procedure.
