He can get a pair of old sneaker and walk the parking lot, if the water is consistently under 10"- 12" the it is probably safe for the average car to drive out. A taller car like my Expedition can probably handle 18"-20" without a problem. For drainage purposes, one side of the lot is always higher than the other and thus will have the shallower water; the difference in elevation between two ends of a lot and depending on local topography can be significant. If he can stay on the high side of the lot (shallower water) he can probably exit the lot safely.

So I'm sitting here watching the game throgh the tivo box and a message pops up that says tivo unable to connect to mlb.tv try gain later. I press ok, the message goes away and I continue to watch the game. Ain't electronics grand?

@Crimsonorblue22 He has odd delivery - sorta flips the ball with his wrist on the forward motion outta the glove. Makes him seem a little inconsistent or wild almost. Some pitches are way out of the strike zone & some are good. Also has an exaggerated drop on his stride into his delivery & just looks mechanically awkward to me.

@approxinfinity Prob told you before but all my fav nephews & nieces live from Va Beach to Richmond to DC. Went to Senators games with em in the 60's when I was a teenager & they were toddlers. Their Dad is buried outside Charlottesville & 2 of them grad UVA, 1 ODU & another Wm & Mary. Neat kids & spectacular countryside. Had Old Glory high & proud Sun for Flag Day & Mon for Gene, was his 76th Bday.

@globaljaybird It is beautiful country. My brother lives in Charlottesville and 3 of my other siblings went to UVA. I really like that area. Another brother lives in C'Ville but went to JMU (I went to JMU as well). It's definitely home. Glad you got to spend some time in our fair state!

@approxinfinity Bro was 10 Navy, 10 CIA, 10 DOD Pentagon & finished another 5 contract at the tech CRT in Charlottesville. His son in law retired from Navy last March with 30 total, 22 yrs in SEALS. Fine family & all patriots. I miss the KRAP out of him. More like a Dad to me than my bro. Dad passed early in life. Dad ran in the KU relays in the 1920's and Gene was KOOL too !! That's actually where I got my handle-Gene was really the original.globaljaybird
