Good bottom of the 2nd for the R's. After loading the bases with no outs they get one on a fly out. Then it didn't look too promising as they got a second out and Infante had an 0-2 ount. But he managed a infield hit for an rbi and then Eskey singled for another. So after 2 it's R's 3-1.

Finnegan in da pen as long reliever tonite. Tough, talented kid;. I like him a lot. Major league ready right outta the chute .just what the Dr ordered.

@Crimsonorblue22 I just like the kid. He was tough as a rusty lug nut on an old Ford pickup last year when the season was on the line. Was a kick ass starter at A&M & didn't miss a stroke when he hit the bigs...Guys like that don't come along every day.

@VailHawk Let me tell you about today. After cutting 2.5 acres on a zero turn mower I was dripping. So then I went to pick blueberries. Dripping even more. And to top it off I was wearing boxers under my shorts and had flies up my legs visiting places I'd rather they not visit. So after about a quart of berries I quit and hit the shower.
