Would be nice to leave town with at least one win out of this series. We have Volquez (8-4 - 3.18)_ on the hill tonight vs Velasquez (0-0, 3.72) for Houston. Maybe, just maybe, if Volquez is on his stuff and the Royals bats come alive tonite we can go home with a W in the back pocket to start an 11 game home stand.

Once again MLB and Fox Spts have blocked me out tonite so I have to rely on ESPN GameCast and what my wonderful friends post here.

@Crimsonorblue22 If you live within a certain distance of ballpark MLB blacks out that area. In the past FoxSpts whatever has always done the Astros home games in LA. About the only time I used to be able to see the Cubs was when they played Houston, home or away. This time they've carried the Rangers. So what's the latest score?

Never mind. Looks like Volquez was doing pretty good until the 5th. Get this series over with and get back to the K.

Now I know what happened with Altuve. ESPN game cast said Gattis lined out to Herrera but it was a gound ball. Just tried to listen to streaming audio and this piece of crap Dell computer that ain't a year old crashes like the piece of crap that it is whenever streaming or watching video. Ready to take a sledge to it, box it and send it back to Dell.

@Crimsonorblue22 Like the KC radio guys said, if you have a one run lead you don't intentionally hit a guy to put the tying run on base and then have to pitch to Perez.

@Crimsonorblue22 Got streaming audio again after 2 trys. Last time I got the Houston spanish broadcast and when I selected KC it crashed.

@Crimsonorblue22 Nope-was abt 30 miles N East in Lees Summit & S East in Raymore. Close but no cigar. We stay on top when weather's bad with NWS broadcasts. We were actually in Webb City (North suburb) the day the tornado hit Joplin for a HS graduation party so we take it serious as everyone should.

@brooksmd Thanks for the advice DAD! No sweat; I very rarely even have a beer away from home. Hard enough to drive sober. You guys & @Crimsonorblue22 have a safe 4th also. Protect those puppies ears from the bombs. I know you will...GOD BLESS!!!:smile: :
