Infante bounces one off the wall and the Jays go to sleep letting Salvy score from 1st.

Rios grounds out to ss and Infante moves from 2nd to 3rd. 2 outs. Orlando beats out a grounder to ss and Infante scores. 6-0.

Esky SO but the R's bat around and lead after 1 inning 6-0.

@brooksmd I'd have it on but wife has HGTV on & I'm at beans. Headin back to the shop - no AC or tv but fans & radio. Thanks for the updates. Need to get the trailer & start haulin brush to the pile again but may put it on hold for a few hrs.

@globaljaybird Leading by a touchdown should be enough for Volquez...but another insurance TD would suit me fine...

Back in the day players had straps on the bases to grab to keep from over sliding. Todays modern, sleek bases make it tough. Price you pay for trying to prevent injury.

Well I'll be in and out while I sweep/vacuum, dust, do some dishes and do the bathrooms before wife gets home from weekend drill. But at least all this is indoors in the a/c and game on tv. :smile:

@Crimsonorblue22 Well I woke up at 4:25 saw tipoff and don't know what happened until end of first half. Failed to get out of the recliner.

So Jays get 2 to tie it, the kids made me take them out and I come back in and the R's are up 11-10. What happened?

So Orlando in front of his family visiting from Brazil hits the game winning hr in the bottom of the 8th.

Crazy game to give the R's the series win and end the first half of the season. Looking forward to an equally exciting second half. Gonna go take a nap.
