So... what now?

@drgnslayr Love me some backgammon, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and archery. Garden just about burnt up. Carted 148 pounds of tomatoes so far to work. Replanted beans. Going to hit 100 this weekend.

@RockChalkinTexas

Thanks for reminding me to replant beans. Time for round 2 with the beans.

I've had lots of tomatoes but less than expected. Spider mites got to them. Hopefully, they will still recover and produce later on, when the temps drop.... if I can keep them alive!

Backgammon? That's my favorite game that doesn't have a ball involved!

@drgnslayr The weather has wreaked havoc on my garden this year. The only things that are doing consistently well are rhubarb and cucumbers. Everything else i've been buying at the store.....

As far as games go - anybody ever play Cards Against Humanity? Oh My!! :see_no_evil: :hear_no_evil: :speak_no_evil: - those things don't apply!

@nuleafjhawk

I've had a great year for cucumbers and eggplant. Eggplant love the heat... I just had to keep them alive through all the rain because they drown easily.

Got to check out that card game. Reading about it now on a website.

@drgnslayr I would SMOKE you in backgammon. I've been playing since 1971.

:game_die: :bangbang:

@RockChalkinTexas

I've been playing since about 1988 or so.

Maybe some time we can meet and play online? There are free playing websites where players can play. I used to play about 3 or 4 times a week, but am rusty now and haven't played much in the past 2 years.

Love the game!

@drgnslayr

Can't even watch that. As I mentioned on a previous thread/post, Zenger sold the broadcast right to the WUG to the island of Nauru local access channel whose 3 viewers can see KU’s Tiddlywinks team in action.... :D

@drgnslayr It's a seriously funny game to play. Just make sure you're not easily embarrassed (I'm guessing that's not a problem). I've played the game with my kids and my dad and we've all laughed so hard I literally thought I pulled a muscle in my stomach. I wouldn't want to play it with my Pastor and his wife though. And they are really cool people.

Kevin Young is playing for team Puerto Rico in the Pan Am games. Pitino is the coach. Hadn't seen anyone post it here or on the other place....

Jul 17, 2015 02:46 AM #12

@Kip_McSmithers is there a tie w/pitino and Puerto Rico?

Jul 17, 2015 06:05 AM #13

@Crimsonorblue22

Calipari coached the Dominican Republic Team in 2011-2012 and a couple of year Dominican top ranked player Karl-Anthony Towns lands at Kentucky. Puerto Rico has a number of good players playing Division I and no question that coaching the National Team would give Pitino the inside track on any top ranked player from there since he would likely be playing for the national team.

@drgnslayr Pan Am games man! Langford is playing!

Jul 18, 2015 03:23 AM #15

@Lulufulu I'd love to see KY too!

Jul 18, 2015 03:26 AM #16

@Crimsonorblue22 Dude still has his big hair. Its epic.

Jul 18, 2015 01:50 PM #17

@Lulufulu

"Pan Am games man! Langford is playing!"

I've been watching some of the other Pan Am sports. Do you know the schedule for USA mens basketball?

Jul 19, 2015 02:11 AM #18

@drgnslayr No, I really dont. I wish I knew when the Men's Basketball started. There's been lots of other sports for the Pan Am games. I just keep looking on the Espn site for any signs. I spose there might be a Pan Am games site...

Jul 19, 2015 04:58 AM #19

@drgnslayr

The men's basketball portion start July 21st. Here is the site with the schedule for all the events. ↗ ESPN2 has been showing the games all weekend.
