@globaljaybird Don't know if you've seen the story yet. You know that Seattle passed a $15/hr min wage? Well now the people who were getting the fed min wage of what $7 something have found out that by going to $15/hr they are losing some of their fed bennies and are asking employers to cut their hrs back so they can get their freebies. Probably finding out they're paying more taxes on that $15/hr also. Just can't make people happy.

@brooksmd Big push for that here on the misery side of KC...yeah if they make that kinda doah they'll be required to earn it too,,,I don't give a rat's ass who says what, young people in general do not have the work ethics of older people-I work with literally hundreds of them & you know you can always find em'...in the break room, in the bath room, in the back room, behind the building...I caught 2 20 yr olds ridin double on the hi low yesterday-parked it & both got off & immediately went to the smart phones. Concrete blocks wouldn't load themselves so a directive became necessary. One day one kid told me "they" didn't want him cutting keys because he wasn't 21..WTF? That was quickly corrected...

@globaljaybird Back in 86 when I was stationed at Ft Walton Beach, FL, a FBO at the local airport advertised for hs kids to wash airplanes at $10/hr during the summer and couldn't get any takers.

@globaljaybird We had a lot of summer hires at the PO here in NO. Most were kids of supvrs. They spent more time on their phones than working. And phones weren't even allowed on the workroom floor.

@brooksmd That was good money back then-seems to me a really good, card carrying certified welder only made abt 16-18 an hr in those days.

@Crimsonorblue22 If they're real, they could really hurt somebody. If they're foam not so much. But since they don't seem to have any of the points broken off I'd say they're real.
