@globaljaybird My sweetie is with the ANG this weekend so I'm batching it. She did text me to say she got the important thing done. She put in her retirement papers effective 1 Feb 16. 30.5 years and never missed a drill weekend unless she was on active duty. She's my hero.

@Crimsonorblue22 I could BS & say lobster bisque but it was really pulled pork shoulder-slow cooked for 10+hrs & then wood smoked for abt 6 more hrs. Crockpot ain't squat but the wood smoke is hot & dirty work. Damn yellow jackets & ground hornets all around & inside my smokers at bottom of the deck so have to eliminate them asap. Week ago wife got nailed by a jacket using the gas grill on the deck so they're beginning to be a literal pain in the butt.
