Baltimore in town to take on the Royals. If you didn't catch yesterday's Royals game, you missed a good one.

Aug 25, 2015 12:11 AM #2

It's Medlen starting tonight instead of in his usual role as a reliever. Baltimore sending Jimenez to the hill. Yesterday Moose appeared to have finally broken out of his hitting funk going 3-5 with a double, hr and game winning double for 4 rbi's.

Aug 25, 2015 12:13 AM #3

@brooksmd uh oh

Aug 25, 2015 12:32 AM #4

@Crimsonorblue22 Shaky start but finished by striking out 4 and 5 hitters. He'll be ok.

Aug 25, 2015 12:34 AM #5

@Crimsonorblue22 Wife home, back in a bit.

Aug 25, 2015 12:47 AM #6

@Crimsonorblue22 That swing and hit by Rios is what I'd like to see Cain do. Cain swings like he's gonna kill the ball all the time.

Aug 25, 2015 01:02 AM #7

@brooksmd got 1 back, Cain looking good tonight!

Aug 25, 2015 01:15 AM #8

@Crimsonorblue22 Salvy with 2 3-pitch strike outs. Last one should've been 2 balls and 1 strike.

@Crimsonorblue22 Heard anything from @globaljaybird ?

Aug 25, 2015 01:26 AM #14

@brooksmd nothing! He knows I worry.

Aug 25, 2015 01:30 AM #15

@Crimsonorblue22 Slo-mo replay explains the pain of the ump.

Aug 25, 2015 01:34 AM #16

@Crimsonorblue22 Despite the 3 runs, Medlen has a good 6 inning outing. His pitching seems almost effortless.

Aug 25, 2015 01:34 AM #17

@brooksmd must have landed hard on wrist too

Aug 25, 2015 01:37 AM #18

Aug 25, 2015 01:43 AM #24

@Crimsonorblue22 Obviously I'm more appreciative than you two are. :smile:

Aug 25, 2015 01:44 AM #25

Aug 25, 2015 01:45 AM #27

Way to go infante!!! Happy for him!

Aug 25, 2015 01:46 AM #28

@Crimsonorblue22 I think your plea has been answered. whoop whoop

Aug 25, 2015 01:46 AM #29

Lil league depth!😑😑😑😑😑

Aug 25, 2015 01:46 AM #30

Almost seems like some of these guys are playin for their future jobs...Damn glad I checked in when I did.

Aug 25, 2015 01:47 AM #31

@globaljaybird we missed you! How's the Fam?

Aug 25, 2015 01:48 AM #32

@globaljaybird Me too. Well with Gordo back soon, and Zobrist's bat, there are only 8 spots available on the field. Good competition.

Aug 25, 2015 01:49 AM #33

@Crimsonorblue22 We're all hangin in there, day to day.

Aug 25, 2015 01:50 AM #34

@brooksmd Hope they bring Gordo back slow-bet they do-damn another double by Zobrist...

Aug 25, 2015 01:51 AM #35

@brooksmd So how much of this has been after 2 outs again?

Aug 25, 2015 01:52 AM #36

@brooksmd smacking that ballπŸ’ͺ⚾️

Aug 25, 2015 01:52 AM #37

@brooksmd as usual...

Aug 25, 2015 01:53 AM #38

There ya go. Seven runs with 2 outs.

Aug 25, 2015 01:56 AM #39

@globaljaybird Does Cain's "I'm gonna kill the ball" swing bother you like it does me? I can see sometimes, but I think a more controlled, go with the pitch swing would help his hit production, not to mention less stress and strain on the back.

Aug 25, 2015 01:58 AM #40

@brooksmd morales our 2nd out?

Aug 25, 2015 01:59 AM #41

@brooksmd He get's his money's worth, that's for sure.

Aug 25, 2015 02:01 AM #42

@globaljaybird Now that's the kind of relief work I like to see.

Aug 25, 2015 02:02 AM #43

Get those hot bats back up there.

Aug 25, 2015 02:12 AM #44

Dig Medlin's line: 6 Innings, 5 hits. 3 earned runs, 6 K's & ZERO BB, 69 total pitches...I'll take that any friggin day...

Aug 25, 2015 02:13 AM #45

@globaljaybird Absolutely. And of course he was backed up by some excellent d. Did you see the play by Moose?

Aug 25, 2015 02:14 AM #46

@globaljaybird Plus his pitching looked so effortless and he was usually right on Salvy's spot.

Aug 25, 2015 02:17 AM #47

@globaljaybird Infante: "Play me shallow b,,,,!"

Aug 25, 2015 02:21 AM #48

@brooksmd new toothache, different tooth. Sucks! Working me in tmrw.

Aug 25, 2015 02:24 AM #49

@Crimsonorblue22 Just pull'em all. Get it over with.

Aug 25, 2015 02:26 AM #50

@brooksmd no! Have to much money in there.

Aug 25, 2015 02:31 AM #51

@Crimsonorblue22 Hoc's 9th inning: 10 pitches, 8 strikes, 2 balls. That's what a bp supposed to do.

Aug 25, 2015 02:33 AM #52

@brooksmd infante needs a Gatorade shower.

Aug 25, 2015 02:35 AM #53

@Crimsonorblue22 Another fun game. Hope the bats stay hot and the pitching hotter.

Aug 25, 2015 02:46 AM #54

@brooksmd Medlin was a tremendous pitcher for Atlanta. Many injuries, lotsa innings, several rehabs & DL stints, but that man is a crafty pitcher. Not flawless, but he has done the job to the letter & knows how it's done. Im' thrilled we have him & I'll bet Ned is too.

Aug 25, 2015 02:54 AM #55

I think maybe he was runner up in Cy Young Award while with the Braves also...

Aug 25, 2015 03:22 AM #56

@globaljaybird Unlike most of the Royal staff, he's very familiar with a bat:

Medlen graduated from Gahr High School in Cerritos, CA in the year 2003. He attended El Camino College his freshman year and hit .296 with 18 RBI's as an infielder. As a pitcher, Medlen posted a 2.84 ERA with 17 K's in 19 innings of work, leading the team with 4 saves.[1] Medlen redshirted the next year,[2] before transferring to Santa Ana College. At Santa Ana, Medlen played as the starting shortstop and hit .332 with 10 HR's and 42 RBI. He also served as the team's closer, posting a 2.23 ERA with 16 saves, striking out 57 in 44.1 innings pitched.[3]

Aug 25, 2015 03:29 AM #57

@brooksmd I love that! I have a hard time believing these guys can be Sooo bad at hitting.

Aug 25, 2015 03:37 AM #58

@globaljaybird Yeah, 2 Tommy Johns surgeries.

Aug 25, 2015 03:41 AM #59

@globaljaybird BTW, was good to chat with you tonite old man.

Aug 25, 2015 11:30 AM #60

@brooksmd @Crimsonorblue22 As always, same to you guys too. Will try to get in on a little game Tuesday night also.
