I just found out I am moving to Dallas and was hoping anyone could give me some suggestions on where to live.
I will be working downtown, looking for a house around 175-225k, would like to keep commute under 45mins each way. Have been looking at Mesquite, Garland, Desoto, Grand Prairie online. Thanks
It's been a long time, but I worked in Grand Prairie and wouldn't want to live there.
Irving was OK and fairly close to downtown by freeway.
Some people I know and admire professionally have their HQ in North Irving.
I'd gladly help if I could, but I have never lived in/around Dallas. Spent 9 years in Houston and a year in Austin - big help, huh?
One helpful hint - learn to love BBQ, perfect your "Y'all" and learn to never look at a speed limit sign.
