I was trying to get some Computer work done while watching KU but the game is getting out of hand. TCU beating Texas 44-0 so likely that will be the headline in the news and not KU... :)

Cozart is just blah, not good and not bad but he has little to work with. 49 yards rushing and 150 passing in 3 quarters will not do it.

Just now, KU intercepts deep in its own territory and returns the ball for a TD...the highlight of the game so far...

@brooksmd Cueto gets the start at 2:10 Sunday for the home field marbles. Rays came back to nail the Jays so we're one up in the loss column. If the Jays lose tomorrow it makes no diff how we shake out but I'd still like going into the post season on a 5 game winning streak... Next series starts Thurs at Kauffman Stadium...YEAH !!

@Crimsonorblue22 Tickets are pretty high so doubtful. Older son just left Augusta for Detroit burbs on another outage & will be gone till at least the week of Halloween-maybe even Thanksgiving if he gets assigned another shutdown in Florida.

@brooksmd With Cueto still scheduled to start today it now seems unlikely he'll get the nod on Thurs to start the ALDS. At this point I like Ventura to get the nod then. He's been PDG as of late & Volquez has been shaky also to say the least. Medlin & Young have been good too, but their pitch counts are so low that our bullpen has to be in top shape if they get the call. Lotsa question marks but we should know within the next week if & how this all unfolds. At least Ned figured out their won-loss record with Esky at the top of the order & has him back at the spot. The 25 man roster will be known shortly & I sure hope Orlando is on it as He's really earned it & is absolutely desrerving,IMO. Either he or Zobrist would be my choice in RF over Rios.

Congrats to your Royals, guys. My Nats have a few big questions to answer going into the off season. Ah well. Go Royals!
