Royals will host the Astros, winners of the AL wildcard game vs the Yankees, Thursday on FS1 at the K. Looks like 7:00 PM Central. The Astros pitching staff looked real good against the Yankees and will be a tough opponent. For the Royals Ace Ventura will get the call for game 1, Cueto game 2 and Volquez for game 3. Just because the Astros are the wildcard winners, don't look past them. Remember who the wildcard winner was last year.

@Crimsonorblue22 Tivo has pre-game 6:30 and game 7:00. ESPN says 6:37 and MLB says 6:30. So I guess make sure tv is on at 6:00.

Astros rotation is going to be Mike Fiers who threw a no hitter in game 1, probably Colin McHugh in game 2 who won 19 games this year and Dallas Keuchel in game 3 who is 15-0 at MMP this year and will probably win the Cy Young this year. I think the Astros take the series in 5. I think the Royals win game 1, Astros take games 2 and 3, Royals take game 4 and Astros win game 5 in KC. The Royals rotation looks like Cueto goes games 2 and 5 and that's going to be their downfall. Dallas Keuchel doesn't lose at MMP and he's going in game 3 at MMP.

@jeff_rosen88: Edinson Volquez has owned the #Astros. He's 6-0, 2.70 lifetime, including 3-0, 3.45 at Minute Maid. #Royals start him Sunday at MMP.

@Crimsonorblue22 Dallas Keuchel is 15-0 with a 1.46 ERA at MMP this year and is going to win the Cy Young this year and just shut down the Yankees in Yankee Stadium tonight. Volquez is a good pitcher, but Keuchel is in another league than Volquez. Don't forget that the Astros swept the Royals at MMP this summer and went 4-2 against the Royals this year.
