Hochever is undoubtedlly the unsung hero of, not only 1 but, 2 straight games . This bullpen without Holland is even better than last year IMO.

Was checking score every so often at the range. Zip zip for several innings and then I saw 1-0 which didn't bother me. Then 3-0 and I thought well the task just got tougher. Then after we shut down the range at 6 I checked again and it was 5-3 and Royals still batting. By the time I found the game on Sirius in the truck it was 6-3 bottom 8th. So got to listen to the last nail biting 3 outs. All you can say is WOW! Two in Toronto would be nice but I really like the guys to win it in the K. Good thing the K doesn't have a roof as I think it would've blown off in the 7th. Man it was loud. Good job "sweetness" getting the thread started. Even though you had to talk to yourself for awhile.

Like I posted earlier above, 100% class & if he's not a Royal after this season the team dynamics will certainly change & maybe for the worst. He's an old school, work your total ass off & keep your mouth shut guy that ya just don't see much of anymore in this day & age. He's been through the inferno & emerged the lead by example commander of his team. He may not be a Jeter or a Puhols stat wise. but without a man like this to follow, young players are destined to endure hard knocks they never dreamed of & possibly never experience the success the rest of these kids are enjoying beside him. The current odds have Royals as favorites, of course, the Mets next and Toronto last...a complete reversal from previous days; it definitely paid to bet on the Royals and Mets when they were the longer shots. :)
