@Lulufulu

I just took this ad out on Craigslist:

FOR TRADE: One wife with mean sense of humor in trade for stray dog. Will come locate and pick up dog when dropping off wife.

Oct 20, 2015 08:05 PM #4

@drgnslayr why do you do that?

@Crimsonorblue22

I'm just holding on by a thread... After the Royals take the World Series I won't know what to do until KU basketball.

I'm down to just watching my Packers play.

I'm very appreciative of the Royals taking us into basketball season.

I like it when Self refers to the Kansas City Royals by saying "WE". Self feels like KC belongs to KU. Why would Mizzou abandon Kansas City? I did like the billboards around KC saying "KC is Jayhawk country!"

Oct 20, 2015 10:41 PM #12

@wrwlumpy

Interesting that you mention that.

I think Mizzou has lost a big chunk of followers from KC after joining the SEC. KC is Big 12 country....

@drgnslayr "KC is Big 12 country." Right on, slayr! My home state university really messed its pants with Big 12 abandonment. A sour apples sellout for pride and the almighty dollar. Mizzou appears to have progressively killed its hoops program, and now is finding trouble in competing with the likes of Kentucky on the gridiron. Eastern Missouri might yet offer strong support, but I don't hear much Tiger hoopla on the western borders. All those splendid years of Kansas City/Big 8/Big 12 basketball and indoor track and field championships flushed down the drain by an indifferent willy-nilly Tiger sports administration and fan base.
