There we go with another reference to UA involvement in the program. Did Coach wear the pull over with the prominently placed UA logo intentionally during the post game show as some sort of acknowledgement or pay back for help in bringing Cheick into the program?
I wish I knew if it was just a coincidence or signified something more.

@kansas-oats he kept brushing at it too, I thought he had food or something on it. Really called attention to it. Coach doesn't make to many mistakes like that. Puzzling.

Is it just me or do you all get the feeling HCBS is bringing Cheick along slowly so that he stays 2 years? He brought Embiid along quickly and lost him after 1 year. Imagine if we had Embiid instead of Cliff last year (a healthy Embiid) how far would KU have gone last season? Cheick says he might stay 2 so HCBS is pulling back the reigns so keep him and Bragg for a 2 year stint. Makes sense to me. Who benefits more for starting seniors instead of Cheick/Bragg? Will we take a hit on recruiting? Only time will tell?

@Statmachine I think the ncaa brought cheick along slowly. I think he's more of a project than I thought he'd be. Coach Self did warn us of that. I think Cheick is wanting more time! Problem is, not sure he deserves it?

@Crimsonorblue22 We bought 2 area rugs a few years ago when we still had the 2 dachshunds. One made it her duty to remove every loop in one of the rugs that was .005 inches higher than the others. Needless to say that rug has bald spots all over it. Fortunately, most are under the table and out of sight. Had a cocker when I lived in Denver back in the days of vinyl lp's. Came home from work one day and every album she could get to had teeth marks through it. Didn't just chew up one completely. Just a couple of bites into about 2 dozen. And then Mike (my current avi) chewed a 10 ft gas hose for the bbq into 10 equal pieces. Fortunately I always turn the valve off at the wall. They all grew out of it. Rio just needs something to occupy him. They're like kids looking for something to do.

@Crimsonorblue22 If he doesn't get more time he'll still likely be gone after one year. Remember, the all knowing say the league drafts on potential. Somebody who was MVP for 2 of the 3 big skills display games for high schoolers HAS potential.
