HATE, HATE, HATE those ugly frickin jerseys. I hope they use them every game from now on.

I love being able to say " Black, you STIIIIIIIINK" and " Black, AWESOME PLAY DUDE !" within a 10 second span.

Apparently we HAVE been coddling Andrew Wiggins too much. We gave him a lot of grief here in the past few days and he responded pretty well !

I, for one, LOVE those jerseys. Maybe the best alt jerseys they've played in during Self's tenure. Hope we see them a lot. Hell, I'd take those over our regular one every game.

@nuleafjhawk just a killer game for KU today. Good win. I saw guys playing hard out there. I saw good defense, for the most part. I saw Wayne and Wigs make a ton of shots! AND EMBIID FOR 3!!!!! That was awesome.
Now... whose next? Iowa St? It will be tough to go there and grab a W but if KU wins, it will be huge. The conference will not be easy to win at all this year. WVU just about beat Okie state just now, they lost by one point. Sure Cobbins is out but they almost got beat by WVU! Werent they last in the league last year or close to it? Our boys better be geeked for every game. I think they will be. Like Coach said, its second season. It also seems that the coaches are in their ears more about playing hard every possession during conference.

@Lulufulu85 Looks as though that tough non-conference schedule is starting to pay dividends. That, and as we alluded to several days ago, I think they're starting to " get it ". I absolutely could not be happier to see guys diving on the floor and going after loose balls.

While I was glad to see ISU get beat today ( You GO Lonnie Kruger! ), I was not happy to see that Kane got hurt. When we beat them Monday, the whole state of Iowa will be moaning and crying that we only won because their star player was hurt.

@nuleafjhawk Iowa State is going to whine anyway, because that's what a Clone-bot does. So, Kane can rest up Monday, we'll take care of business, and the Clone-bots can go back to being miserable.

This is as good a time as any to restart the tradition of posting a Weberace pic that I begun at kusports.com ...
