Well sportsfans here it is at last. Temperature here at the Rock today is forecast 83deg. Damn sweet for Feb 11th So, after much heartache, adversity & tremendous tragic misfortune for this organization, I finally just finished going through the entire KC Royals 2017 roster & rundown of players, positions, utility players, starters, bullpen, salaries, expiring contracts, wantabees, waterboys, potential 2017 trades, and it's freakin exhausting trying to CUT payroll while keeping this team even close to a playoff contending level. I don't know if it's even a whiff of a possibility, let alone reality. After hours & days of contemplations & investigations, my final analysis is simply this: We all should undeniably & proudly remember & enjoy this present version of our Kansas City Royals much as humanly possible.. These Royals will be so much different next year they may be unrecognizable from the team that won it all in 2015. It's likely that 2 or 3 of our nucleus are all that will remain, while most of our Royal favorites will be gone like the promo slogan - Forever Royal. And personally I don't know how long into this season I will we be able to watch them fearing the potential Blue October fire sale. But I do have my lucky Boxer footed little pal here givin me that "October puppy dog look" once again I do hope he's right one just one more time.. It's time for Spring training once again - an old mans fantasy & a young boy's dream...... JMO Time to play ball !!

I'm going to try and make a trip to Spring Training this year. Would be nice to take an extended trip and stay in Arizona for a KU Championship
