Hope there's not already another thread about this guy....

This guy is a BEAST. I am always comfortable when Frank and/or Devonte have the ball in their hands. I am always STOKED when Josh has it. What's this guy gonna do next? One hand stuff from the free throw line? Crazy pass from the top of the key that no one else can make? Float in from halfcourt and finish with a two hand jam from Frank or Devonte? Make free throws in the clutch when everyone says he can't shoot free throws? Block a shot? Play great defense?

This kid is amazing. Way better than....previous OAD's and way, way, way better than what I expected at the beginning of the season.

I'd give up 3 years of football bowl eligibility to keep him here another 3 years.

@nuleafjhawk His passing last night reminded me of Tiny Archibald's early days with the KC-Omaha Kings. His passes were so unexpected and out of nowhere that it took awhile for his teammates to get used to having this rifle shot blasted at them. At first, too, they had a bunch of turnovers and fumbled shots so his assist total could well have been higher. A friend in the Kings' organization told me there were lots of bent and bruised fingers. I loved watching that guy.

I still think Josh could be a PG in the pros, or PF perhaps. Certainly a hybrid wherever he plays.

I thought he looked a bit like Lebron James last night. I know they can't compare but the overall skill Jackson plays with is something not many players have the ability to execute. His passing ability is his most unsung attribute and he had 3-4 passes last night that were scary good.

He goes down on the floor, crowd felt like they were at a funeral. He comes back in and immediately nails a 3 with a hand in his face. The one handed dunk is his way of punishing the other team. His signature I own you dunk.

@BeddieKU23 Nice observation. Seems to me college guys like JJ (or Motley or DJ Johnson or Perry, for example) have to worry more when they drive than NBAers do because college defenses pack it in in the paint more. If he can add 25 to 35 lbs and keep his agility and quickness, Josh could bull his way to the rim in the NBA like Lebron. Lately, that league seems to rely on a whole series of 3 pt shots alternating with 1-on-1 contests. If JJ really keeps improving his jump shot, that will open lots of room for him because he is so freaking quick on his fakes, and his passing would keep other teams from doubling.

@mayjay Josh in the NBA is going to be an absolute animal, a pure beast. I rally not into the NBA at least till playoffs, BUT with the players we have had in recent memory starting to follow a lot closer. - -Wiggins, Jo, Jo, and Josh - - I have to agree I think Josh by far is the best OAD we have had here at KU - he is just a complete player - -everything, his passing ability, his drives, rebounding hell even diving on the floor for loose balls, he is TEAM. really lucky - -blessed to have him this one year - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
