He is Risen
Apr 16, 2017 06:38 PM #1

He is Risen indeed!

Happy easter to all who believe this greatest of all messages. It's better than hoops, or baseball, or money, or a delicious lamb chop grilled to perfection every day of the week.

I'm sure some here don't have similar beliefs, but it's important to me and hard for me not to be excited about it. All enjoy this great day!

I had to work today. Coming home I seen more traffic than a Friday afternoon. It really made me scratch my head. Where was everybody going? :honeybee:

I'm not a Christian, but Happy Easter guys. Hope it was a good one. Surrounded by beautiful churches here. I'm inspired by what inspires others.

My 4 year old niece went to Sunday School today, came home and sprawled on her bed. She said, "I've been crucified, Mommy! But don't worry, I will be back soon!"

@nuleafjhawk Wife & I sat behind RW Jr & Donna Blackwood in service Sunday. Most times when we leave church we really feel like we've been there. It does get vocal if ya know what I mean.

@globaljaybird That's awesome!! When I was a kid we used to go to an Episcopal church (if anyone's Episcopal please don't be offended) and it was always a snooze fest for me. The church I go to now, for the last 26 years, is Pentacostal and we have a good time! Nothing crazy, but especially worship is a celebration. We've tamed down quite a bit the past few years - everyone's getting older!!! Lol

@nuleafjhawk Our pastor is 73 years young Gary McSpadden of Gaither Vocal Band heritage & there are very often guests that are of SGMA pedigree & live here also. Gary is SGMA HOF & so are the Blackwoods. RW, Donna, & their daughter & husband are not visitors but members. Is not a large congregation-maybe 4-500 or so, but we are really quite powerful & do a lot of work in this community & area. You can stream sermons at fwcbranson.com. Enjoy.

Lulufulu nice man! Wish Bennett and Self would schedule a home and home. Why not? Why do the major conferences have to only play each other in the context of non con tourneys?
