Adam Eaton and what might be what never was

Such a promising start to the offense for my Nats, coming in waves, scored 42 runs in 3 games against Colorado. And then down goes Adam Eaton, torn ACL, and all my optimism for this season is dashed.

Why @wissox why?!

@approxinfinity don't take Herrera! Or as @brooksmd calls him, Tabasco.

@approxinfinity bummer about eaton

@approxinfinity I feel your pain. I really liked Adam Eaton, but I think you guys gave up too much for him.

@wissox I agree we did but it takes a tough dude to not slump in the leadoff spot. And every one of our hitters struggled at lead off last year. Don't want Turner there because he can also hit for power. He went 0 for 3 at lead off today. Right back where we were last year minus a couple guys that could have helped the staff.

@approxinfinity Rendon had a monstrous day as apparently the whole team did.

@brooksmd he did! What a day! 6 for 6 with 10 RBIs. Maybe all is not lost. Always feels good beating the crap out of the Mets, even if they're looking broken this year.

Not just the Mets, the Yankees too.

Nats bullpen got their 6th loss today. Rough.
