Royals taking on Verlander and the Tigers. Salvy has made Verlander his b***h so looking for good things from him tonite. Five straight series wins, in the month of June, so let's see if they can make it six. Merrifield bounces one over the 420 cf wall to lead things off.

Was just thinking about a favorite poster of ours in the KU BB area. He would probably say series wins during the season don't mean anything if you don't win the WS. Bonifacio singles in Whit. Royals 1-0, no outs.

Jun 27, 2017 11:18 PM #3

Wonder if Salvy got Miggy to sign his Grand Slam bat.

Jun 27, 2017 11:21 PM #4

Cain singles, Bonifacio to 2nd and still no outs. R's really need to jump all over Verlander early as Hoz singles and loads up the bases.

Jun 27, 2017 11:23 PM #5

Salvy bloops first pitch in to short rf scoring Bonifacio and LoCain.

Jun 27, 2017 11:25 PM #6

Moose grounds to Miggy who throws wide to 2nd for the force instead of a dp. One out runners first and third.

Jun 27, 2017 11:26 PM #7

Moss swings at 3 straight balls out of the zone. Two outs.

Jun 27, 2017 11:28 PM #8

Esky lines sharply up the middle, deflected by Verlander allowing the force out at 2nd. Royals 3 - 0

Jun 27, 2017 11:29 PM #9

@brooksmd 'bout killed him!

Jun 27, 2017 11:30 PM #10

Strahm on the hill for the Royals.

Jun 27, 2017 11:30 PM #11

@brooksmd Bubba, Bubba! Starling, please!

Jun 27, 2017 11:30 PM #12

@mayjay he ready? Where we putting him?

Jun 27, 2017 11:31 PM #13

When's duff coming back?

Jun 27, 2017 11:32 PM #14

@Crimsonorblue22 Recent article says Bubba is playing his best ball after almot quitting when he started season badly. Call him up. Euthanize Moss.

Jun 27, 2017 11:32 PM #15

@Crimsonorblue22 Isn't Duffy rehabbing in the minors now?

Jun 27, 2017 11:32 PM #16

@mayjay nice way to put him out!

Jun 27, 2017 11:32 PM #17

@brooksmd yes

Yes!

Jun 27, 2017 11:34 PM #19

He's done 1 of 3 rehab starts.

Jun 27, 2017 11:34 PM #20

brb, gotta feed the kids.

Jun 27, 2017 11:36 PM #21

Close!

Jun 27, 2017 11:39 PM #22

Big SO of Miggy. I can breathe again.

Jun 27, 2017 11:45 PM #23

You guys think Ned will hang in there w/moss?

Liking Boni better all the time, trusting him out in field more too

Jun 27, 2017 11:48 PM #26

"When he was drafted, Bubba Starling was hailed as a game-changing selection. Many believed the local boy from Gardner, Kansas would quickly become the face of the franchise."

Nothing like putting major pressure on a kid.

Jun 27, 2017 11:51 PM #27

@brooksmd my sons good friend was one of Bubba's coaches in fb at G-E. Great athlete.

Jun 28, 2017 12:58 AM #28

Salvy a little short on the ooomph on that one.

Jun 28, 2017 01:01 AM #29

Even Salvy tipped his hat to Matook for that catch. Class.

Jun 28, 2017 01:02 AM #30

CAIN!!! That's what lackadaisical get you. Stupid.

Jun 28, 2017 01:07 AM #31

@brooksmd what? Missed it

Jun 28, 2017 01:09 AM #32

@Crimsonorblue22 Routine fly ball and he dropped it.

Jun 28, 2017 01:13 AM #33

@brooksmd dang!

Jun 28, 2017 01:19 AM #34

At over 100 pitches let's hope Verlanders nite is over as the Royals haven't done squat since the first except wasted a couple of good opportunities.

Jun 28, 2017 01:38 AM #35

Verlander threw the 7th and the Royals were kind enough to not make him exert himself with Whit, Boni and Cain going 3 up and down on just 7 pitches.

Jun 28, 2017 02:06 AM #36

BS 3rd strike on Moss.

Jun 28, 2017 02:06 AM #37

It's where it crosses the plate ump, not where it hits the catchers glove.

Jun 28, 2017 02:07 AM #38

But it's pathetic to have a .180 hitting DH.

Jun 28, 2017 02:17 AM #39

Crap, Gordon leading off top of the 9th still down 5-3.

Jun 28, 2017 02:18 AM #40

Great opportunity guys. Bosox beating up on the Twins and Tex has thumped Clev.

Jun 28, 2017 02:19 AM #41

@brooksmd how much are we paying Gordo?

Jun 28, 2017 02:20 AM #42

@brooksmd I miss our old fans here, not old in age!😳

Jun 28, 2017 02:21 AM #43

Anything over a buck two eighty is too much.

Jun 28, 2017 02:23 AM #44

Well, on the plus side, if everybody loses nobody gains.

Jun 28, 2017 02:24 AM #45

@brooksmd rather gain though!😬

Jun 28, 2017 02:24 AM #46

Should have scored more in the first

Jun 28, 2017 02:26 AM #47

Good nite!!!

Jun 28, 2017 02:27 AM #48

@Crimsonorblue22 And the other 2 innings with 2 on and no outs.

Jun 28, 2017 02:28 AM #49

@brooksmd 6 tmrw?

Jun 28, 2017 02:33 AM #50

@Crimsonorblue22 Yup

Jun 28, 2017 04:05 PM #51

Tough loss last night. Can't stop scoring after the first. I wonder who buys Verlander here at the deadline. Not having a great season, but he is still Verlander.
