I look at this as Bob Huggins paying Bill Self a compliment.

@wrwlumpy I look at it as if the WV AD has a bad hard on for KU and/or Bill Self.

I realize that I think differently than a lot of folk, but if I were Bob Huggins and my boss proposed that offer to me, I'd put a pop-knot on their head.

Beating KU (and every other team you play) is what you get paid for. Do your job. If you can.

@wrwlumpy that was for last year? I'm assuming it still applies? Wonder if any other coaches have contracts like that?

@wrwlumpy

Sounds like a marriage contract! ;)

@wrwlumpy Poor Ol' Hugs departs AFH with not so much as a pack of Juicy Fruit for his Saturday efforts. Self just kept heaving heavy metal into the Mountaineers' cogs.

@REHawk_ Hugs looked like he's been loadin up on the Big Macs quite often. A little Juicy Fruit or Beamons couldn't hurt that much more.

I have to admit I like Huggins. He helped elevate KSU when they needed it. And that helped the B12. (For that matter I liked Martin for the same reason-and I did enjoy the FM stares after a bad KSU play.)
Anyway happy with the W and the due respect Huggins gives the KU program.
Another W, and KSU W over UT gives us another game lead in the title race. Thanks Wildcats!

I have a lot of respect for Frank Martin. He is a very different person outside the court, and one that deeply cares about his players. Also, he has always been very respectful of the KU basketball program and its history; I wish he would have stayed at KSU. Once all the players he inherited are gone and following tradition, Bruce Weber will drive the KSU program into oblivion...hopefully it starts this coming Monday.
