I suppose perhaps that current media contracts would be impacted, but with cable/satellite customers quickly eroding, why is the University not pursuing an independent streaming video service? Looks like audio is available but not video.

The contract that #%€^*# Zenger signed with Time Warner gives it exclusive rights to several men's basketball and football games. Women's basketball and volleyball games have also been blacked out; in other words, every sport worth watching has been affected. Can't think of any other AD that has done more to alienate fans than Zenger...and the worst part is the fans most affected are in Kansas and the KC Metro area which had the largest concentration of KU alumni in the country.
