Geez Louise, man...it is lots of work to make this monstrosity function. I've got the tv and movies up, but the live tv has proven to be elusive. Has anyone ever tried IPTV? Is it worth the $$$ to get a subscript?

@KUSTEVE

After looking at all the available options, I decided to install an external antenna that I feed to 7 TV sets through the house coaxial wiring and brings close to 50 stations. I also subscribed to YouTube TV which carries all the ESPNs and , Fox Sports channels, the NBA and MLB streams and a number of other sports channels including soccer, tennis, golf and Olympic sports as well as many cable only channels. It also carries the local station for all 4 major networks and I can use my account anywhere in the world as long a I have Internet access. The price is pretty good and allows 3 simultaneous streams; I use Roku sticks to get the wireless signal from the house system. I am considering using a T-Mobile dedicated hot spot box to further cut the cost of Internet.

Al in all a pretty decent solution at about half the cost of my previous cable set up.
