Interesting... I absolute hate Boras, but there is a reason he is THE baseball agent. He takes care of his clients 99/100 times.
There is also talk of making international players go through the draft and getting rid of the International signing pool. Probably not a coincidence that it is getting talked about just as a Boras client does this and perfectly skates around the 6 years of club control rule that the players will be fighting against.
I sort of expect the next MLB CBA to be WILD. I could see a lockout and a truncated season tbh. Players do not like the current free agent system because it keeps guys from getting big pay days they would have seen 5 or 10 years ago.
