Any ideas who has had the most dunks in one game. I googled my brains out and couldn't find any reliable NCAA stats. Dok had 9 against TCU. I doubt that's the most ever, but I'm curious what the record is...
Wilt dunked a lot, so I've heard.
This is good Bucketing right here. This thread is amazing.
Banning the dunk back in the day was a total buzzkill. Imagine what those guys could've done
@FarmerJayhawk It'd be like taking away the three point shot now because of Steph and company.
How Convenient that this dropped yesterday. Great Article.
Doke has the highest career PER in Big-12 history.
"This is the second season in which Doke leads the conference in player efficiency rating, which checks out, given that he currently has the highest career PER in Big 12 history. Box Plus/Minus, which attempts to measure a player’s contribution to his or her team, tabs him as fourth in conference history in the career version of its metric."
@benshawks08 I'd love to see how many points Maravich would have scored if he had the three point shot.
It would be like when my son was 2 or 3 and I asked him how many stars are in the sky?
"MANY, MANY"
As stated earlier 122 dunks during Dok’s sophomore season are the most ever during a single season. He’s only played 80 games (you can play 40 a year if you make the final game), so he likely won’t be the career dunk leader. A 5th year Dok would be alright by me, but he isn’t getting a retro-medical redshirt.
I still haven’t found the record for dunks in a single game though.
He's 2nd right now with 244, 25 dunks behind Tacko Fall who finished his career with 269.
Seems like he will blow right past that record.
